Founded in Berlin in 2003, the first MYKITA premises were settled in a former children’s daycare, called “Kita” in German. This inspired not only the name “My Kita,” but also the brand’s culture of curiosity and play. Made from the finest materials, MYKITA’s guiding principle is that technical concepts—like their iconic spiral hinge—are also beautiful. With eyewear designed by a team of product designers and technical engineers, MYKITA’s ‘modern manufactory’ principle combines handcraft and high-technology processes under a single roof.
